I began my career in software quality engineering before Agile, before cloud, before the enterprise patterns that now define modern BFSI delivery. In the years since, I have held senior testing, leadership, and consultancy roles at some of the world's most demanding organisations.
My career has taken me across banking, financial services, insurance, government, retail, and aerospace — leading distributed teams across the UK, Germany, Luxembourg, Ireland, and the Netherlands, and operating at the level where software quality has direct consequences for revenue, regulation, and reputation.
I founded CalyTeQ because I kept seeing the same pattern: smart organisations, talented engineers, sophisticated tooling — and yet production incidents that nobody saw coming. The common thread was never a lack of testing. It was a lack of genuine confidence in what was being shipped.
CalyTeQ uses AI where it accelerates the work — evidence synthesis, pattern analysis, coverage assessment — and senior engineering judgement where it determines the outcome. The two are not in competition. AI produces more data faster. Experienced engineers know what the data means.
